T/C Cable & Connectors

Some precautions and product ordering information are below.
Thermocouple Curves – K & E
Standard Anritsu Meter products are designed to use either the Type-K or Type-E thermocouples.
Only connect a Type K Probe to a Type K Meter. Only connect a Type E probe to a Type E Meter. If you need a Type J, or Type T thermocouple probe, it is available. Just follow the part numbering guide. Anritsu Meter can also manufacture certain models for use with Type-J or Type-T thermocouples. While Anritsu (thermocouple) Meters are only available in Type K and E Curves, other manufacturers thermocouple meters calibrated for Type J and Type T will accept Anritsu Meter J & T thermocouple probes. This seems obvious, but we have been asked this before. Please contact us for more information.

(-) : Pure Platinum
Connectors
Anritsu Meter thermocouple probes and meters are made with either the ASP or ANP plug (see pictures below). Most thermocouple meters in the US use the “ANP”, also know as the “mini connector.” The “ASP” connector is used primarily in Japan. Obviously, you have to ensure that your meter and probe have the same connector. Anritsu also can make your probe with different thermocouple wire terminations, i.e., banana plug, ring connector, spade lug, or bare. Please contact us for more information, assistance in assembling the correct part number for your probe, lead time the estimated cost. Call 1-504-316-9527, or email [email protected].
Connection
* WA, WC, and WT are made of generally available electrical materials, not thermocouple metals.
Note that temperature changes in these parts may result in measurement errors.

For information on standard probe compensating lead wires (cords), please refer to the probe product pages. Anritsu Meter can also manufacture certain probe models with the following compensating lead wires. Please contact us for more information.
